notedigit.com

An MCP server that turns a private Git repository of Markdown notes into a secure, AI-accessible knowledge base with per-user access control and full audit logging.

SaaS Laravel MCP

Overview

Notedigit connects a private Git repository of Markdown notes to any MCP-capable tool — Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or a custom agent — so your documentation becomes something an assistant can actually read. Your single source of truth stays in Git, distributed everywhere you and your team need it.

Access is read-only by design. The server exposes three operations — search, read_file and list_files — and nothing that can write to or rewrite your repository. Authentication is OAuth 2.1 with per-user access control, so a seat can be granted and revoked without touching the underlying Git host.

There is no persistent storage. Repositories are cloned on demand and cleaned up afterwards, which keeps the surface area small: the notes stay authoritative in Git rather than being copied into another system that then drifts. Every access is written to an audit log, so you can answer who read what and when.

It works with any Git host, and plans scale by repositories, seats and request rate rather than by feature gating.
